devi editare il file /etc/ppp/options (se usi un modem analogico)
oppure il file /etc/ppp/ioptions (se usi un ta isdn)
da man (i)pppd (pppd è il demone per l'analogico e ipppd per l'isdn)
+chap Require the peer to authenticate itself using CHAP
[Cryptographic Handshake Authentication
Protocol] authentication.
-chap Don't agree to authenticate using CHAP.
chap-interval <n>
If this option is given, ipppd will rechallenge the peer
every <n> seconds.
chap-max-challenge <n>
Set the maximum number of CHAP challenge transmissions to
<n> (default 10).
chap-restart <n>
Set the CHAP restart interval
(retransmission timeout for challenges) to <n> seconds
(default 3).
io proverei con due opzioni nel file:
-pap
+chap
Prova si sa mai che funzioni..... :D
