Ciao a tutti,

Da un pò di tempo il demone SMART si sta lamentando di uno dei dischi, con
questo messaggio email che mi viene spedito un po' dopo l'avvio della
macchina:

-----
The following warning/error was logged by the smartd daemon:

Device: /dev/sda, 2 Currently unreadable (pending) sectors

For details see host's SYSLOG (default: /var/log/syslog).

You can also use the smartctl utility for further investigation.
No additional email messages about this problem will be sent.
-----

Stamattina mi son deciso e ho lanciato un
# smartctl -t short /dev/sda

Finito il test, ho controllato con
# smartctl -l selftest /dev/sda
che mi ha ritornato:
-----
smartctl version 5.38 [x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu] Copyright (C) 2002-8 Bruce
Allen

e subito dopo mi sono arrivate 2 email:
-----
The following warning/error was logged by the smartd daemon:

For details see host's SYSLOG (default: /var/log/syslog).

You can also use the smartctl utility for further investigation.

-----

Ora, io farei un long test, ma voi cosa consigliate di fare?
Il disco è membro di un array raid1, mi posso sentire "al sicuro"?

Ciao,
Diego
