Nessuna cazzata.
Usa fetchmail come demone, creando il file /etc/fetchmailrc con grosso
modo il seguente contenuto (per un server POP3 e uno IMAP con SSL):

set daemon 600
set postmaster "utentelocale1"
set bouncemail
set no spambounce
set properties ""
poll server1 with proto POP3
    user 'utente1' there with password 'pwd1' is 'utentelocale1' here
    user 'utente2' there with password 'pwd2' is 'utentelocale2' here
poll server2 with proto IMAP port 993 plugin "openssl s_client -connect
%h:%p"
    user 'utente1' there with password 'pwd1' is 'utentelocale1' here
