stai usando l'xfs, l'X font server.
(o almeno questo e' quello che cerca il server x all'avvio.
dovresti capire come mai l'xfs non parte...
(o se parte, come mai non e' accessibile..)
prova semplicemente a lanciare /etc/init.d/xfs start
e vedi cosa ti dice.
