Prima ho provato con fdisk, anche sul /dev/sdQUALCOSA originale ma c'è
qualcosa di molto rotto: ho provato più volte di seguito a lanciare
fdisk ed eseguire i comandi x ('expert') e d ('print the raw data in the
partition table') ed ogni volta il risultato era diverso. Come si vede
nell'allegato i primi 0x1B8 byte sono zero, poi ce ne sono 3 diversi,
poi zero fino a 0x1FE; infine 0x1FF contiene 0x55AA in ogni caso.
Ho provato a seguire la guida di tldp, ma

dumpe2fs: Bad magic number in super-block while trying to open
/media/a1/ice_down/mint_down/backup_franci.dd
Couldn't find valid filesystem superblock.

Grazie nuovamente per il supporto :)
Forse una strada che posso ancora tentare è acquistare un hdd dello
stesso identico modello, smontarlo con una Torx T5/T6/T7 (perché
ovviamente la T8 che ho è troppo grossa :/) e usare l'elettronica
"buona" del "nuovo" disco sul mio disco... qualcuno c'è mai riuscito?
