Carissimi,
ho tra le mani una chiavetta USB che non funziona più perché il proprietario, dopo aver settato la password di accesso alla chiavetta, se l'è scordata e dopo tre tentativi di accesso la chiavetta è diventata inutilizzabile. C'è qualche modo per poter accedere al contenuto?

Il proprietario ora ha recuperato la password, ma il software della chiavetta (gira su windows) non gliela lascia più utilizzare appunto perché ha esaurito i tentativi a disposizione. 

Oltre a non potervi accedere, non riesco nemmeno a formattare la partizione in quanto non mi fa vedere il device, solo una piccola partizione in cui ci sono dei file eseguibili che credo siano il programma che gestisce l'accesso (per accedervi però devo per forza montarla "a mano", che  vede come cdrom...).

Avete idea di come poter fare? (recupero e/o formattazione) 

Con google non sono riuscito a cavarci più di tanto.
