linux user group brescia

So' che su questo argomento di trovano centinaia di scritti e magari 
sara' anche gia' stato trattato su questa ml, pero' io non riesco
a venirne a capo. Abbiate pazienza.
Sto' cercano di mettere in rete i miei due pc: alfa e bravo.
Mi sono procurato un cavo incrociato e l'ho' provato su due coppie di pc
in ufficio: w98-w98 e rh62-w98 tutto bene.
A casa l'ho collegato ai miei due pc i leds delle schede si accendono.
alfa: rh62 - 2.2.16 - 192.168.1.1 - Realtek 8129
bravo: debian2.2 - 2.2.17 - 192.168.1.2 - EtherExpressPro 100

Ecco /etc/hosts che sono uguali per entrambe:
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
192.168.1.1  alfa.home alfa
192.168.1.2  bravo.home bravo

Ecco /etc/reslov.conf di alfa

Entrambe hanno /etc/host.allow e /etc/host.deny vuoti
